Planned Homebirth with a Private Midwife
For many families, choosing a homebirth is about more than the place of birth—it’s about creating a safe, supported, and empowering environment for welcoming a new life.
A private midwife provides longer appointments with time to assess you and your baby holistically — not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well.
A Private midwife can order blood tests & ultrasounds and prescribe medications.
Comfort & Familiarity
Being in your own space helps women feel relaxed, confident, and in tune with their bodies during labour. You can move freely, rest, eat, or use water as you wish.
Continuity of Care
You are cared for by a midwife you know and trust, who knows you, your history, and your hopes for birth. This trusted relationship fosters confidence, calm and better outcomes for you and your family.
A Safe Choice
Evidence shows that planned homebirth with a qualified midwife is a safe option for mothers and babies, with fewer interventions and high levels of satisfaction. With Kellie’s years of experience in both high-risk and homebirth settings, and access to emergency medications, equipment, and hospital transfer if needed, your care is safe, supportive and seamless.
Autonomy & Choice
Homebirth with Homegrown Midwifery is about supporting your informed decisions through respectful, individualised care, that empowers you to embrace your birth experience with confidence.
The combination of home comfort, personalised support, and skilled professional guidance is what makes planned homebirth with Homegrown Midwifery a safe, positive, and deeply meaningful choice for many families.
